The Work

Mental health journeys often begin with a story. When Mind asked Catsnake to help improve their information offering, our research showed that people seeking support often turn to the voices of those who’ve walked a similar path. That insight became the foundation of ‘Finding Help’, a video series sharing five real stories of accessing mental health support.

Together with the Mind team, we developed and produced the films in close partnership with participants – ensuring the process felt safe, empowering and true to their experiences.

The Impact

The series broke down some of the most common and often intimidating steps people face – from talking to a GP to trying new medication or joining a support group – and reframed them through honesty, warmth and lived experience. By stepping away from standard talking-head formats, we created films that feel human, thoughtful and supportive.

Mind were delighted with the approach and the outcome. Content Designer Jessie Coupe shared “Catsnake are on another level as a creative agency, intuitive and incredible at what they do, but able to listen to us and partner with us at Mind. Investing in relationships with our participants before filming was a masterstroke. The resulting films brimmed with personal and powerful stories.”
