Job Title: Creative Director

Company: Catsnake: The Story Agency

Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: Somerset House / Remote (2-3 times in office per week, always on Mondays)

Wage: £50,000 per annum, plus after one-year both a share of annual profits and an EMI scheme

Catsnake: The Story Agency is a third sector specialist that helps charities raise funds by crafting compelling narratives and strategies that drive action. We work with renowned clients like UNICEF, WWF, RSPB, Scope, Dog’s Trust, GOSH Charity, Amnesty International, and many more. Our relaxed, collaborative culture thrives on laughter, creativity, and of course, plenty of tea.

ROLE

Join us as Creative Director and use your exceptional creative and strategic thinking to shape powerful stories for our charity partners. You’ll have the opportunity to oversee all aspects of Catsnake’s creative output, from strategy to visuals, and guide a talented team to deliver outstanding results.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all creative output, from strategic consulting and scriptwriting to imagery, video, and branding.
  • Creating and delivering pitches to existing and potential clients.
  • Building and managing workflows for research, brainstorming, writing, and project execution.
  • Supervising a diverse team, including writers, strategists, and other creatives.
  • Collaborating with the Managing Director to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Representing the company at industry events and engaging with clients.
  • Fostering a compassionate, open, and diverse work environment.
  • Actively sharing information and welcoming feedback.

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Proven senior creative leadership experience.
  • Tender response and presentation development and delivery.
  • Experience in leading and supporting teams for growth and development.
  • Background in working with mid-sized and large charities.
  • Online and offline content-led campaign/project management.
