Freelance Creative Project Manager
Are you the sort of person who considers stories to be fundamental to who we are? Do you see narratives as the very thing that binds our society together? Do you think tea is the answer to everything? Then you should come and collaborate with Catsnake: The Story Agency.
We are looking for freelance Creative Project Managers to join our team on a project-to-project basis. So, if you can manage complex campaigns, communicate with clients, and help writers and creatives produce their best work, we’re looking for you
Catsnake is a story agency for the third sector – we use a combination of storytelling, in depth research, behavioural psychology and rigorous creative systems to produce campaigns, films and strategies for charities and causes, like WWF, the RSPB, Scope, Amnesty, ARUK, the National Trust and UNICEF.
Our focus is on telling stories that change beliefs and behaviour. We believe deeply in the power of narratives to engage, entertain, and lead to positive change for our communities, our environment and our collective future.
We have a highly collaborative, relaxed culture, driven by laughter and creativity and fuelled by many, many, cups of tea.

Periodically we look to refresh and build our roster of creatives, and at the moment we’re specifically looking for Creative Project Managers to manage our regular larger digital campaigns.
This role requires strong organisational skills to effectively manage and motivate a group of diverse creatives (herding cats, essentially), and oversee the creation of a multitude of content that achieves specific aims. Essentially, you would be the point of contact between Catsnake and the client.
- Creating and managing schedules and budgets.
- Coordinating and updating diaries.
- Setting up meetings, drawing up agendas and taking minutes.
- Experience with project management software (i.e., Asana, TeamGantt, Slack, Trello, Monday).
- Liaising with and managing the client, through weekly calls and regular email contact.
- You would need to be based in/near London and able to come into the office at Somerset House, with the flexibility to work from home as well.
To apply, please email [email protected] with the subject heading as “Creative Project Manager – [YOUR NAME]” and include a CV and a brief cover letter (no more than 500 words, tell us a little about yourself and why you’re interested in the role). Finally, please also state your typical day rate(s) for this work.
The deadline to apply is Sunday 3rd April 2022.
We’ll then contact you for an initial interview and obviously a cuppa! Thanks!
